Diligent Announces Third Annual Modern Governance 100 Program

New award categories introduced to honor global governance, risk, compliance and audit professionals across all industries

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diligent Corporation, the global leader in SaaS governance, risk and compliance today, announced the opening of nominations for the third annual Modern Governance 100 program.

Launched in 2019 to honor 100 exemplary governance leaders, the 2021 Modern Governance 100 will recognize the contributions of the world’s top governance, risk, compliance, audit and IT professionals. The governance leaders are honored for their efforts in switching their organizations toward greater diversity, sustainable practices and digital transformation.

This year, Diligent has evolved the Modern Governance 100 program by introducing six new categories highlighting important achievements in key areas. The new categories are: ESG & Diversity Trailblazer, Digital Transformation Innovator, Cyber Risk Leader, Driver of Audit Excellence, Risk & Compliance Visionary and Outstanding Community Ally.

Nominations for Modern Governance 100 leaders can be submitted by board members, elected officials, and executives across all industries through August 13, 2021. Recipients for the Modern Governance 100 will be selected by an expert panel of judges and announced during Diligent’s Modern Governance Summit on September 14, 2021.
