LegalZoom Names Former Activision and Google Exec Sheily Chhabria Panchal as Chief People Officer

GLENDALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Former Activision Blizzard, ServiceTitan and Google executive Sheily Chhabria Panchal has joined LegalZoom as its new Chief People Officer. She will hold an instrumental position on the company’s senior leadership team as LegalZoom continues to democratize access to high-quality legal services that help people protect their businesses, families and ideas. Chhabria Panchal takes the helm on these important initiatives from interim Chief People Officer, Nicole Miller, who will continue in her role as LegalZoom’s General Counsel.

A 20-year technology industry veteran, Chhabria Panchal joins LegalZoom from Activision Blizzard, Inc., where she served as Vice President of Global Human Resources, leading a team responsible for people initiatives for approximately 3,000 employees globally. In this role, she managed and led a team of 30 human resources staffers across approximately 20 offices globally. She also oversaw management of multiple integrations and reorganizations across business entities, and supported establishment of new global goal setting and strategy processes, compensation, performance management, recruiting, talent strategy and management, and the hiring of numerous key executives.

Prior to Activision Blizzard, Chhabria Panchal was Executive Vice President of People Operations for ServiceTitan, Inc., where she formalized the People Operations function, developed a strong employment brand and culture to grow the company from 150 to nearly 1,000 staff, grew its domestic and international office footprint, drove executive development and hiring of critical executives, and supported key portions of its Series C and D funding rounds from a compensation and equity perspective. Previously, she held a decade-long tenure at Google, Inc. which included various leadership roles focused on people operations, governance and user advocacy, as well as served as a consultant with Accenture, Ltd.

Chhabria Panchal graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where she has served as an adjunct professor. Additionally, she has volunteered with and actively supports several local non-profit organizations and tech startups.
