Hazelrigg Claims Management Services Merges with TRISTAR Insurance Group, Inc.

LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hazelrigg Claims Management Services (HCMS) has merged with TRISTAR Insurance Group, Inc. (TRISTAR), the largest privately owned, independent third-party claims administrator in the United States. The transaction is effective January 1st, 2021.

TRISTAR and HCMS both have impressive reputations for quality customer service within the risk management community. This merger is a significant strategic step in expanding TRISTAR's footprint, and the combined company will create a diversified portfolio in the California market.

Commenting on the merger, Arlene Hazelrigg, HCMS President, stated: "The partnership is a perfect fit because both HCMS and TRISTAR share the same philosophy, passion for customer service, and work ethic. Both Arlene Hazelrigg, HCMS President, and Dan Madrigal, HCMS CFO, will stay on with TRISTAR, and all HCMS employees will continue operating out of the existing California locations at both Chino Hills and Oakland. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
