GoFor Reports Successful 2020 with Exponential Growth Projected for 2021

Leading last mile delivery and logistics company experienced 656% year-over-year growth and forecasts transformational progress in the next year

OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GoFor Industries, North America’s leading marketplace for last mile, on-demand and same-day delivery and logistics completed a highly successful 2020 with enormous momentum, posting 656% growth in revenue, appointing multiple key leadership figures and expanding service to 73 cities and counting. With global delivery patterns changing fundamentally due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant shift in customer expectations for delivery, GoFor is poised to continue its extensive customer and employee growth, further positioning the company to execute on its vision to revolutionize logistics with innovative technologies and deliver the ultimate customer experience.

“Though 2020 was challenging in many ways, we are excited to have made significant strides and risen to the occasion to provide scalable, on-demand and same-day last mile delivery services across North America as we all experienced unprecedented disruptions to our known ways of life and business,” said Brad Rollo, President & CEO, GoFor. “We don’t expect to see customers’ desire for fast delivery disappear. As retail purchasing patterns evolve, we look forward to further supporting businesses of all sizes in owning their last mile and truly delivering for their customers.”

GoFor saw its commercial customer base and delivery output skyrocket as follows:

  • Compared to 2019, GoFor’s customer base increased by 156% in 2020 and is trending to exceed a 42% growth in total commercial customers by the end of 2021.
  • GoFor’s delivery output increased from thousands of deliveries in 2019 to hundreds of thousands in 2020, with projections to high single digit millions in 2021.
  • The company’s delivery drivers drove more than 2.2 million miles (3.6 million kilometers) in 2020, a 390% increase compared to 2019. 2021 could see greater than a 230% increase to more than 7.4 million miles (12 million kilometers).
  • GoFor will double its operating reach to 146+ cities by the end of 2021.

Moving toward electrifying its fleet, GoFor also established a partnership with Royale EV in 2020, highlighting the company’s core values that include driver and vehicle safety and environmental protection. GoFor will first move to electrify its California fleet, followed by expansion across North America, with a goal of electrifying 50% of the company’s fleet by 2025.

To support the company’s rapid overall growth, GoFor corporate employee total grew by over 242% in 2020, which included eight major hires consisting of Chief Financial Officer Andrew Bailes, Executive Vice President of Sales John Mumaugh, Vice President of Marketing Nicole Cheffey, Vice President of Product Management Peter Hanschke, Vice President of Operations Paul McLean and Vice Presidents of Partnerships Bob Madson, Brandt Roberts and Tony Jasinski.

GoFor plans to more than double the number of corporate employees and expand its active driver pool to nearly 4,000 individuals by 2022 — a 300% increase in the pool.

With GoFor’s growth in new markets, expansion of its commercial customer base and the addition of thousands of new active drivers, GoFor projects that its revenue will grow by more than 400% in 2021, as the company strengthens its position as a scalable last mile delivery solution for businesses of all sizes.
