Levin Easterly Partners Becomes Easterly Investment Partners

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Levin Easterly Partners, a private asset management company dedicated to providing fundamental value-oriented equity solutions to investors, today announced that it has changed its name to Easterly Investment Partners. The name change is effective immediately.

“The renaming of Levin Easterly Partners as Easterly Investment Partners introduces clarity into our operations and simplifies how investors perceive us and do business with us,” said Darrell Crate, chairman of Easterly Investment Partners. “The renaming, and related enhancements we will introduce in the coming months, will redefine the value we bring to investors.”

Easterly Investment Partners uses fundamental, bottom-up research to identify high-quality companies that are undervalued by the market. “We are, and always have been, value investors,” said Crate. “We are committed to delivering exceptional long-term performance to our clients. We do this by focusing on companies that are out of favor with the market but have strong balance sheets and discernible catalysts that will lead to price appreciation.”

Levin Easterly Partners was established in 2019 through its acquisition of the long-only investment business of Levin Capital Strategies. The firm offers Large-, All-, and Mid-Cap Value strategies which will remain in the hands of the current investment team. Easterly Investment Partners also will continue to sub-advise the Easterly Alternatives SPAC Fund I, launched in December 2020 as one of the few funds to invest solely in a diversified portfolio of SPACs.

“Our name has changed, but our people, our strategies and our investment philosophy remain the same,” said Jack Murphy, Chief Investment Officer and Lead Portfolio Manager at Easterly Investment Partners. “This renaming enables us to strengthen our story, and to more clearly communicate how we deliver solutions to investors.”
