HealthEdge Announces New Chief Product and Operating Officer

New executive to lead expansion of next-generation payer technology platform

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthEdge®, provider of the industry’s leading mission-critical claims processing, care management, and payment integrity technology assets for payers, today announced Sagnik Bhattacharya as its new Chief Product and Operating Officer, HealthRules Payor®. Bhattacharya is a proven healthcare technology leader driving vision and execution for enterprise-scale healthcare companies.

Sagnik has two decades experience in building best-in-class technology-enabled solutions for providers and payers. He held multiple leadership roles with Epic Systems Corporation and led Epic’s payer and provider facing value-based healthcare solutions. Most recently, Sagnik was the Head of Product and Network Strategy for PatientPing.

Sagnik’s background is in computer science; he has a master's degree from University of Virginia and a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. As HealthEdge’s Chief Product and Operating Officer, he will oversee the growth, development, and delivery of its HealthRules Payor platform more specifically holding responsibilities for engineering, operations, and professional services.
