Catcha Investment Corp Announces Pricing of Upsized $275 Million Initial Public Offering

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Catcha Investment Corp (the “Company”), a special purpose acquisition company formed for the purpose of entering into a combination with one or more businesses, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 27,500,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit. The units will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and trade under the ticker symbol “CHAA.U” beginning February 12, 2021. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share of the Company and one-third of one redeemable warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one Class A ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per share. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols “CHAA” and “CHAA WS,” respectively.

Led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Grove and President Luke Elliott, Catcha Investment Corp intends to focus its search on a target with operations or prospective operations in the technology, digital media, financial technology, or digital services sectors, which it refers to as the “new economy sectors,” across Asia Pacific, in particular Southeast Asia and Australia.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is serving as sole book-running manager for this offering. The Company has granted the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,125,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
