Mitel Appoints James Yersh as Chief Financial Officer

Prepares company for next phase of growth with addition of tech industry finance leader

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mitel®, a global leader in business communications, announced today the appointment of James Yersh as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Yersh will lead all aspects of the company’s financial operations from planning and management to accounting, treasury, and corporate tax.

He joins Mitel with more than two decades of experience serving in CFO and senior executive-level roles. Most recently, at eSentire, in addition to the duties of CFO, he held further responsibility as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. As part of this expansive scope, Yersh drove growth and accountability through financial planning, key performance indicators, and data driven, cross-functional performance reviews. He also worked closely with the product, technology, and other go-to-market functions to unify plans that helped triple revenues during his tenure. Prior to joining eSentire, he held positions with KORE Wireless, BlackBerry, Cognos Incorporated, and Deloitte. Notably, while at BlackBerry, Yersh supported the organization in its transition to a software-based product suite.
