GEICO’s Associate-Led Effort Drives $13,000 in Community Donations in Indianapolis

Company also filling 2,000 positions countrywide

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of an associate-led effort, GEICO is donating more than $350,000 to charities across the country. From coast-to-coast, GEICO associates nominated non-profit organizations and projects for making a positive impact on their communities. More than 100 organizations were awarded donations.

“Our associates told us what was important to them, and we listened,” said GEICO Chief Human Resource Officer Rick Hoagland. “I’ve been touched by the passion GEICO associates show for helping their communities. We are happy to support the wonderful work these organizations are doing.”

In the greater Indianapolis area, GEICO granted $13,000 in total to the following organizations:

  • Children’s Oncology Service
  • Municipal Garden Dad's Club
  • 714Joy
  • Never Alone Project

Community connection and service have long been important to the GEICO family – a family that is growing.

GEICO is hiring for Customer Service, Sales, Claims Service, Emergency Roadside Service, and the Management Development Program in Indianapolis. The company is committed to hiring 2,000 positions throughout the country over the next six months.
