AVIA Names John Fiacco as Chief Growth Officer

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AVIA, the nation’s leading digital transformation partner for healthcare organizations, appointed John Fiacco to serve as chief growth officer, effective November 16, 2020. Fiacco joins AVIA’s executive leadership team in this newly-created role. He is responsible for business development strategy and sales operations across the company.

“John is a proven driver of growth and results, a highly respected leader, a founder with successful exits, and a creative problem solver,” said AVIA’s CEO, Linda Finkel. “I could not be more excited to have John join the AVIA family.”

Fiacco is an accomplished executive leader with demonstrated experience in a range of health information companies, including those in the benefits technology, insurance technology, and consumer decision support and analytics sectors. Prior to joining AVIA, he served as Managing Director, Torch Insight at Milliman. Fiacco co-founded two health data companies with successful exits to publicly-held companies, ConnectedHealth and Subimo. He holds an MBA and BS from Northwestern University.

“AVIA’s Membership model stands out as profoundly different in an industry often defined by time-constricted, project-based engagements,” said Fiacco. “The value the AVIA Membership model creates for its partner organizations is unparalleled, and I’m thrilled to drive growth for the organization.”

John’s appointment aligns with the continued, strong momentum among AVIA’s Members. Last month, AVIA announced results from several Members who partnered with AVIA to drive practical, impactful, and sustainable digital transformation.
