Liyuan Woo Joins as Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Kerrick Appointed to Board of Directors, Audit Committee Chair
LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The HydraFacial Company announced today the appointments of Liyuan Woo as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, effective September 21, 2020, and Michelle Kerrick to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective October 15, 2020. Ms. Kerrick will be the chairwoman of the Company’s Audit Committee.
Ms. Woo is a strategic and operational financial expert, who has provided leadership and direction to both public and private companies. She has more than 23 years of experience building and creating infrastructure to enable aggressive global scaling, while promoting profitability. In this role, Ms. Woo will oversee all financial aspects of the Company, accelerating HydraFacial’s mission to revolutionize skin health for aesthetic professionals and their clients.

Prior to The HydraFacial Company, Ms. Woo was the COO & CFO of The VOID, a highly rated VR brand introducing consumers to fully immersive, location-based, hyper-reality experiences that merge virtual and physical environments. Throughout her career, Ms. Woo provided leadership to both growth oriented and turnaround situations and had experiences in global brands such as SharkNinja, Gymboree, bebe and Deloitte.

With more than 35 years of diverse management and leadership experience, Ms. Kerrick will join the Company’s Board of Directors and its Audit Committee. She has been a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 and other company executives and corporate boards, including Mattel, Teledyne, Snap and Sofi Stadium. Ms. Kerrick has a strong background in corporate governance and is qualified to serve as a financial expert.

Ms. Kerrick recently served as the West Region and Los Angeles practice Managing Partner for Deloitte, one of the world's largest professional services organizations. As one of three regional leaders in the U.S., she helped drive national strategy, client and business growth and strategic positioning across the region, which includes 13 offices in eight states, and over 9,000 people.
Ms. Kerrick also had deep experience in governance roles within Deloitte. She served on Deloitte's Board Council and Strategic Investment Committee in which she oversaw various acquisitions and investments. Ms. Kerrick also served two terms on Deloitte's Nominating Committee, which is responsible for CEO and board director selection.
As a community leader, Ms. Kerrick has held a number of senior governance roles in prominent professional and community organizations. She served as the 2018 Board Chair of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; board member of Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission; and on the Bid Committees that secured the 2022 Super Bowl and the 2028 Olympic Summer Games for Los Angeles. Ms. Kerrick received her B.S. degree in accountancy from Northern Arizona University.
