Midwest Retail Properties Sells Walmart-Anchored Retail Center in Suburban Wichita, KS

EL DORADO, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Midwest Retail Properties (“MRP”) announces the sale of El Dorado Centre in El Dorado, Kansas for $1,675,000. El Dorado Centre is a 13,805-square-foot shopping center located directly in front of a Walmart Supercenter. It is leased to national credit tenants such as Jimmy John’s, Cato, and AT&T.

This property was acquired as part of a four-property Walmart Shadow Center portfolio in late 2017 for $848,000. MRP disposed of the property on October 21, 2020 after increasing the NOI roughly 275%.
