Andersen US National Tax Practice Welcomes Managing Director Leo Martinez

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Andersen is proud to welcome Managing Director Leo Martinez to the US National Tax (USNT) practice. He will be based in the San Francisco office. Leo brings to the firm over 35 years of legal experience, including a distinguished career in legal education with an emphasis in insurance law, tax policy, federal income tax and contracts.

Prior to joining Andersen, Leo served as the Albert Abramson Professor of Law and former dean of the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Leo has previously held leadership positions in organizations including the American Bar Association and the Association of American Law Schools. He was also an advisor for the American Law Institute’s Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance. Leo is a co-author of a leading insurance law casebook now in its eighth edition and co-editor of a four-volume insurance treatise. He has authored numerous articles on topics including tax, insurance, and legal education and is a frequent speaker at legal symposia globally.
