REX Shares Grows AUM 1000%, Surpasses $1 Billion, Deepens Leadership Bench

Firm welcomes seasoned experts to oversee brand development and financial management

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--REX Shares (REX), an independent provider of exchange-traded products (ETPs), surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) during the third quarter of 2020, a 1,000% surge since Jan. 1. Coinciding with this growth, the firm recently hired Dr. Phil Pearlman as Chief Behavioral Officer/Head of Marketing and Robert Rokose, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer.

“In 2020, our firm has grown significantly as investors use our products to pursue innovative investment strategies amid ongoing market uncertainty,” said Greg King, Founder and CEO of REX. “Phil and Bob each bring rich backgrounds and track records of success that will be invaluable as we continue to expand.”

Pearlman, who earned a doctorate in clinical psychology, will spearhead the firm’s marketing, branding and content development initiatives. His keen understanding of behavioral finance uniquely positions him to help educate investors on the overall market landscape, investor behavior and REX products.

Rokose joins REX with 28 years of accounting and financial services experience. His previous roles include CFO of U.S. Funds at JP Morgan Asset Management, Managing Director & CFO at PIMCO/Allianz Funds and Assistant Comptroller at publicly held Lexington Global.

“REX is at an inflection point, and both Phil and Bob’s expertise will help propel the firm forward so we can continue building better investment solutions for distinct areas of the market,” added King.

REX builds unique investment and trading products. The firm’s MicroSectors™ suite allows investors enhanced exposure to tailored market sectors. The firm also offers investors secure, low-cost exposure to digital assets through its Osprey Funds division.
