SECAF Names New Board of Directors Leadership

Richard Pineda Appointed Chair;
Mitchell Ross, Mark Melton, and Meghan Gifford Named Officers

MCLEAN, Va.--()--The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), the premier organization for the small and emerging government contractor community, announced today the appointment of Richard Pineda (CALIBRE, President & CEO) as Chair. Mitchell Ross (Acquisition and Management, LLC, Principal) will become Vice-Chair. Mark Melton (Cordia Partners, Partner) will remain as Treasurer, and Meghan Gifford (Octo Consulting Group, Director of Corporate Development) will become Secretary. Further, Aland Acuna (Acuna Consulting, CEO), Christopher Crowder (Unanet, Regional Vice President), Kevin Hodges (Watermark Risk Management, President), Jack Moore (Evans Consulting, Managing Partner), Adam Nalls (Atlantic Union Bank, Senior Vice President), and Eric Vendt (Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Partner) were all named to the Board of Directors.

Pineda succeeds Matthew Agresti and Sirena Johnson as Chair. “It is a privilege to take on this role from Matt and Sirena. They have done an extraordinary job leading our organization and serving SECAF members this last year. As Chair, my vision is to build on that solid foundation, deepen our member engagement through virtual events, and expand our reach outside of the Washington, DC region. As someone who co-created his own small business in the past, I understand the immense value SECAF brings to the small and emerging market of Government Contractors and Service Provides. We have a tremendous value proposition for Government Contractors in terms of education, advocacy, access, networking, and collaboration. Their success stories are the cornerstone of SECAF’s future,” Pineda stated.
