Seaport Global Strengthens Equity Derivatives Division—Brian Lombardi Joins as Head of Strategy for Risk Arbitrage and Event Driven Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brian Lombardi has joined Seaport Global Securities LLC (“Seaport Global”) as Head of Strategy for the Risk Arbitrage and Event Driven Team, which is part of the firm’s Equity Derivatives group. In this role, Brian will focus on providing analysis for clients in relation to timing and probability issues surrounding event-based investment opportunities. He will also identify favorable rate of return and risk reward structures involving the purchase of publicly traded equities and options.

Brian has buy- and sell-side experience, and has held Equity Research positions at Wall Street firms, including five years as a Director at Bank of America and three years as an Analyst at M81 Capital. Most recently, he was an Event Driven Analyst at TIG Securities. He is a CFA Charter holder.
