Soberlink Celebrates National Recovery Month by Making Donations

Soberlink will donate $10 for every device purchased in the month of September

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Soberlink today announced that it will be making donations to organizations focused on helping those in recovery from alcohol addiction such as ASAM, McShin, NAATP, and Natural High, among others. For every device purchased in the month of September, Soberlink will donate $10. These donations are being made in celebration of National Recovery Month and are in line with the company’s mission to erase the stigma of alcohol monitoring by designing and developing the very best technology for a modern, discreet user experience.

What Soberlink Believes

We hope that our device can help people in recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder to have more accountability and rebuild trust with their loved ones. We encourage people to take that next step in their accountability for National Recovery Month. This campaign will allow them to help themselves while being a part of a good cause.

Why It Matters

According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 14.4 million adults ages 18 and older have AUD. Of these people, only 10% get treatment. Especially during these uncertain times, it is more important than ever for those in recovery to seek the accountability they need to maintain sobriety and stay connected. National Recovery Month helps to increase awareness and understanding of Alcohol Use Disorder, reduce the stigma that surrounds it, and celebrate those who have achieved or are beginning to achieve lasting recovery.
