FanCompass Announces Strategic Partnership with Minor League Baseball

Deal Supports Teams with Digital Innovation for 2021 Season

SAN RAFAEL, Calif.--()--FanCompass is honored to announce a new strategic partnership with Minor League Baseball (MiLB). Through this agreement, all MiLB teams will have access to the FanCompass suite of digital products and services to help drive fan engagement, retention and generate sponsorship revenue now and into the 2021 season.

The partnership will help teams develop fan engagement campaigns to help build their fan database and stay connected with their key audiences. FanCompass will also assist teams as they generate quality leads for next season’s ticket sales, as well as redirect sponsorship investments to a digital platform.

“MiLB clubs are well known for their incredible innovation and ability to connect authentically with fans, while integrating sponsor activations,” said Katie Davison, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy and Business Development for MiLB. “As we look towards the balance of this year and the 2021 season, we’re seeing our fans spending more and more time engaging on our digital platform. Our relationship with FanCompass provides our teams with new digital resources to amplify that engagement and deliver compelling sponsor activations online.”

FanCompass currently works with MiLB clubs including the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats, Reno Aces, and El Paso Chihuahuas, the Double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles, the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts among several others. With the help of FanCompass, clubs have been able to showcase their creativity and resilience, finding ways for team sponsors to gain value through digital activations in place of in-stadium events with the 2020 season being shut down by the pandemic.

“Based on the strong results from our partnerships with several MiLB clubs already, we know the FanCompass platform delivers a return on investment,” said Lisa Fahey, FanCompass President. “We are thrilled to work closely with the MiLB digital team to expand our efforts to the broader MiLB footprint and to help drive digital dollars for these clubs, particularly in this very challenging time.”
