Toorak Capital Expands Asset Management Team, Hires Kevin Tatro and Stephen Tyde

SUMMIT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toorak Capital Partners, the largest capital provider to the residential bridge real estate lending industry, today announced that it has expanded the asset management team with the hires of Kevin Tatro as Head of Asset Management & Reporting and Stephen J. Tyde Jr. as Head of Special Servicing.

Tatro brings over 30 years of experience in asset management and commercial real estate debt to Toorak. He most recently served as Principal and Head of Asset Management at Woodbridge Investments and has held leadership positions at Macquarie Group, Doral Group, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and J.P. Morgan Investment Management. Kevin holds an MS and MBA from The University of Bridgeport and has served on the adjunct faculty at the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.

Tyde has extensive experience in whole loan workouts, special servicing, and REO. He served as a Director with Rialto Capital Advisors, and held leadership positions at DLP Real Estate Capital, Pulte Homes, Beazer Homes, and Levitt & Sons. Earlier in his career, Stephen was an attorney specializing in real estate and commercial litigation, land use, zoning, and bankruptcy. He holds an MBA from The Goizueta School of Business at Emory University, a JD from The Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa.
