HilltopSecurities’ Public Finance Division Welcomes William Evans as Head of Underwriting

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hilltop Securities Inc. (HilltopSecurities) announced today that William Evans recently joined the firm’s public finance division as managing director, head of underwriting.

Evans will lead HilltopSecurities’ negotiated and competitive underwriting efforts, working with the firm’s public finance bankers and fixed income capital markets sales and trading desk to assist in the pricing, structuring, timing and distribution of municipal securities for clients across all sectors.

Evans brings nearly two decades of experience in underwriting and institutional sales. He joins HilltopSecurities from Loop Capital Markets, where he served as senior vice president, underwriter. While there, he was responsible for pricing and marketing negotiated deals for a wide range of issuance types—including tax-exempt, taxable, and high-yield bonds—as well as managing the firm’s competitive underwriting business. Prior to his time at Loop Capital Markets, he served as an underwriter with Morgan Stanley & Co. and UBS Securities.
