Agilent Technologies Announces Pricing of $500 Million of Senior Notes

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Agilent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the pricing of an underwritten, registered public offering of a series of its senior notes in an aggregate principal amount of $500 million. The offering is being conducted under an automatic shelf registration statement on file with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The notes will mature in June 2030 and will bear interest at an annual rate of 2.100 percent. The offering is expected to close on June 4, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The estimated net proceeds of the offering are expected to be approximately $494.3 million. Agilent intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including, together with cash on hand, to repay borrowings under its term loan facility.
