Accelerate Learning Announces STEMscopes Math, Available Nationwide in June

New digital curriculum creates meaningful math experiences for real-world application

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Accelerate Learning today announces the national release of its first core mathematics program, STEMscopes™ Math. The math curriculum will be available nationwide in June for grades 3-5.

STEMscopes Math is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. It combines digital and print components with hands-on kits to provide teachers with everything they need to create meaningful math learning experiences for students. The digital curriculum materials for students are also available in Spanish.

Using the 5E plus Intervention and Acceleration lesson model, STEMscopes Math makes math relevant by revealing the wonder of math in the everyday world. It provides interactive learning using the Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) approach. The curriculum features inquiry-based math investigations, virtual manipulatives, and interactive games that engage students as they build their understanding. In addition, it encourages exploration with open-ended, cross-dimensional tasks, and it drives purposeful math discussions to boost student collaboration and growth.

STEMscopes Math includes benchmark assessments for grades 3-5 to provide standards-based data and Quantile measures that track student progress and inform instruction. It features embedded strategies for diverse learners, including English language learners and students who need additional support.
