FREMONT, Calif.--()--Attivo Networks®, an award-winning leader in deception for cybersecurity threat detection, announced today that The Software Report has included Sarah Ashburn, senior vice president of sales and customer success, in its Top 25 Women Leaders in Cybersecurity of 2020 list. The list recognizes outstanding women for their demonstrated cybersecurity expertise, longevity in the industry, and career progression.

Hundreds of exceptional women were nominated in this year’s process. The Software Report evaluated each nominee based on a series of questions on the candidate's leadership and professional capabilities. The Software Report also conducted candidate evaluation based on company competitiveness within the broader cybersecurity industry and how the individual compared to the most exceptional executives.

Ashburn is responsible for aggressively driving Attivo Networks’ domestic sales strategy, expansion, and high-performance team development. A seasoned sales executive with over 25 years of sales experience covering all markets including enterprise and mid-market organizations, she is recognized for her sales leadership and track record of closing $1B in sales throughout her career.

Sarah has a unique background that allows her to understand her customers’ vision and needs. Her tenure includes working directly with the CEO of Symantec, as the Chief of Staff, which allowed her to view business from the top down. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience leading the M&A Integration office, which exposed her to the value of brand awareness and perception in the market. Driving value to the customer is her top priority, and she works tirelessly to create mutually successful business outcomes. Sarah propels quality customer engagement by partnering with the Engineering team to ensure feedback gained from customers is actualized.

“It’s a great honor to be included in this prestigious list of industry leaders,” said Ashburn. “My success is due in very large part to the fantastic team at Attivo Networks and the amazing work we’ve done together with our customers and partners. I’m extremely proud of our work and pleased to be honored with this recognition.”
