A BIGtoken study conducted in a 24-hour period revealed that 67% of respondents are fearful of early reopening as it can lead to more spread of the novel coronavirus. At the same time, 32% of respondents said they will immediately go out for non-essential services as soon as they open; 50.6% said they will travel to another state when it’s allowed; and 67% plan to gather with friends and family when their state reopens.
When asked what types of businesses they’ll be visiting when the social distancing mandates are lifted, most respondents claimed state parks and beaches (39.7%). This is followed by essentials such as supermarkets and banks (37.2%), barber shops and nail salons (33.3%), restaurants (29.5%), and non-essential retail stores (25.6%).
