ACI Worldwide and Guidewire Improve Premium Payment and Claims Disbursement Experience, Driving Consumer Loyalty for Property & Casualty Insurers

ACI’s Ready for Guidewire validated accelerators provide policyholders with more convenient ways to pay bills, increasing satisfaction and improving security

NAPLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, and Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE:GWRE), provider of the industry platform that Property and Casualty (P&C) insurers rely upon, today announced that ACI’s Ready for Guidewire validated accelerators for BillingCenter and ClaimCenter are now complete. P&C insurers can quickly integrate ACI Speedpay with the full Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter, providing their policyholders with easier ways to pay their bills and receive payments.

ACI is one of the first Guidewire payment affiliates to serve the entire policyholder journey—from the initial policy binder deposit, to monthly premium bill payments, through to claim disbursements—while easing the burden of PCI compliance for P&C insurers. The ACI Speedpay Guidewire accelerators for PolicyCenter, previously announced in June 2019, and the new BillingCenter accelerator enable P&C insurers to securely accept popular payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards and ACH for one-time or recurring payments. The ClaimCenter accelerator allows insurers to disburse claim payments in real time to recipients via ACH and Push-to-Debit (Visa Direct and MasterCard Send).

“We’re pleased to see the completion of ACI’s Ready for Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter accelerators as insurers can now integrate ACI Speedpay with InsuranceSuite,” said Becky Mattick, vice president, Global Solution Alliances, Guidewire Software. “ACI Speedpay provides policyholders with many ways to pay insurers, whether through an agent or via mobile, web or mail. The completion of the ClaimCenter and BillingCenter accelerators facilitates insurers’ ability to provide the claims disbursements and payments flexibility that policyholders need.”

“P&C insurers need to optimize their most frequent customer touchpoints, including billing, payments and claims in order to win customers and gain loyalty,” said Sanjay Gupta, executive vice president, ACI Worldwide. “With the completion of ACI’s Ready for Guidewire validated accelerators, insurers can drive consumer loyalty though improved satisfaction with the billing and payments process, increased savings and enhanced security.”

ACI Speedpay solutions provide insurers with the modern billing and disbursement options their policyholders expect—all in a single, integrated payments hub. By offering faster payment and disbursement options to policyholders in their preferred channels, carriers can improve the entire payment lifecycle, which lowers cost while delivering industry-leading security.
