Meketa Investment Group Hires Sandra Ackermann-Schaufler as Principal

BOSTON & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meketa Investment Group (Meketa), a global investment consulting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce Sandra Ackermann-Schaufler has joined the firm as a Principal, effective March 9. Based in Meketa’s New York office, Ms. Ackermann-Schaufler will be servicing discretionary and non-discretionary clients as a Portfolio Strategist and Consultant.

Prior to joining Meketa, Ms. Ackermann-Schaufler spent over 10 years at SEI Investments as senior portfolio manager covering global, international and emerging market equities. She was responsible for managing portfolios as well as overseeing research selection and ongoing evaluation within SEI funds. Previously, Ms. Ackermann-Schaufler was a senior international equity analyst and portfolio manager of Merrill Lynch’s multi manager strategies. Earlier in her career, she served as chief investment officer and lead portfolio manager for three international closed-end mutual funds at Deutsche Asset Management. She has also worked in diverse roles related to asset management at HVB Capital Markets, Deutsche Asset Management and Allianz Asset Management in the US and Germany.

Ms. Ackermann-Schaufler is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. She earned a Master of Science in International Economic Sciences from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and is a CFA charterholder.
