SS8 to Present Today’s Lawful Intelligence Challenges

2020 has been described as the pivotal year for 5G, as more and more telcos deploy the new technology on multiple environments. SS8 has gained significant knowledge regarding how 5G will impact Lawful Intelligence platforms as a result of their recent field deployments and customer trials. While at ISS World MEA, SS8 plans to share some of that knowledge with Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Government and Intelligence Agencies.

On Monday March 9, SS8 will present “Real World Interpretation of 5G LI Requirements and Implications for Carriers and LEAs With 5G”. A session designed to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with processing 100 times more data per target and the new level of requirements needed for Lawful Intercept solutions.

Additionally, on Wednesday March 11, SS8 will Present “Changing Needs for LEAs with 5G, Location and Encryption”. 5G will change the way we secure location-based data, as the traditional identifiers such as IMSI and IMEI will be replaced, complicating the 4G and 5G interoperability. SS8 will discuss this and other changes needed for LI platforms to successfully perform in 5G networks.
