Morrow Sodali Appoints Harry Van Dyke as Executive Vice Chairman

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Morrow Sodali, the leading global consultancy providing comprehensive governance and shareholder-related services to corporate clients around the world, is pleased to announce the appointment of Harry van Dyke as Executive Vice Chairman. In his new role, Mr. van Dyke will chair the Global Executive Committee and will work with the company’s leadership team on the company’s strategy and growth. Harry will also establish and lead a Strategic Advisory Board of independent senior executives who will provide guidance and strategic advice to the company. In addition, he will focus on growing the company’s global M&A and Activism advisory business and on helping build the company’s overall profile.

Mr. van Dyke has more than 30 years of experience in a range of roles in investment banking. He is the former CEO and founder of Teneo Capital, an investment banking boutique. Previously, Mr. van Dyke spent 22 years with Morgan Stanley, most recently as a Managing Director and Group Head in Investment Banking. During his time with Morgan Stanley, Mr. van Dyke built and ran both the firm’s Latin American M&A effort and Asia Pacific M&A business, living and working in London, Hong Kong and New York. He was also a Managing Director and Group Head in Investment Banking at Bank of America, where he established, built and ran a business development effort while concurrently overseeing Corporate Divestitures and Middle Market M&A. He holds a BA from Yale University in Economics and in Engineering & Applied Science, as well as an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School.
