Based in Plano, Texas, CHC is a nonprofit organization that owns, manages, consults with and/or advises more than 100 acute care and post-acute hospitals and healthcare facilities. The contract renewal with HealthTrust preserves the support structure and resources these community hospitals and non-acute providers have come to depend on to manage the escalating costs of healthcare delivery.

“For ten years, we have had the privilege of onboarding community hospitals to the HealthTrust portfolio,” said Jim Kendrick, president and CEO of Community Hospital Corporation. “In each instance, our members have benefitted from immediate cost savings. We are pleased to preserve that value and to leverage HealthTrust’s unique operator perspective in serving these vital community assets.”

“We are grateful that our relationship ensures optimal value and guidance for our members,” commented Jon Pruitt, senior vice president of CHC Supply Trust, the supply chain services arm of CHC and CHC Consulting. “Together, we help hospitals of all sizes achieve value, especially considering supply costs are the second-highest expense for hospitals.”

Ed Jones, HealthTrust president and CEO stated, “As a trusted channel partner, CHC fulfills an important mission serving the needs of community providers. We are very proud to extend our relationship and continue a collaboration that delivers true operating performance value.”
