LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm, announced today that Mr. Paul Bridwell has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Based in Los Angeles, Bridwell’s expanding role includes the management and oversight of the firm’s global investment platform in addition to his responsibilities for the operations of the North American portfolio of businesses.
Bridwell joined OpenGate in November of 2018 and has significant tenure as a private equity professional both as a portfolio company CEO and as an operations leader developed through his experiences at two prior global, private equity firms. In his new position, in addition to overseeing the operations of North American investments, Bridwell will translate the firm’s strategic vision into actions as well as provide oversight of OpenGate’s finance, human resources, and IT functions to ensure that they effectively support the growth of OpenGate. Bridwell will also spearhead the firm’s expanding digital operational capabilities via OGx®, OpenGate’s proprietary technology platform.
