Ceridian to Accelerate Hiring in Canada with an Additional 2,000 Research & Development and Engineering Jobs within 5 years

Ceridian has averaged more than 300 new hires in Canada per year since 2013

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ceridian HCM Holding Inc. (NYSE:CDAY) (TSX: CDAY), a global human capital management (HCM) technology company, today announced plans to accelerate hiring in Canada, with 400 new jobs in 2020 and more than 2,000 over the next five years.

The positions will be based at Ceridian’s offices across Canada, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Halifax, and Calgary. The new positions will include engineering, research and development, and consulting. Of the 400 new hires in 2020, 100 are expected to be interns.

Ceridian currently services over 40,000 Canadian customers and processes payroll for approximately one in five Canadians. In 2019, Ceridian added an additional 800,000 active users to its flagship Dayforce Human Capital Management solution.
