After Three Decades Serving Clients, Father-Son Team Joins Ameriprise Financial with $234 Million in Assets

Norman and Michael Robbins were attracted to the client focus and support they found in Ameriprise’s employee channel

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Father-son team Norman and Michael Robbins recently joined the employee channel of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) in Boca Raton, Fla., after a 38-year and 27-year career respectively, serving a diverse client base in South Florida and across the United States. The team manages $234 million in assets and joined from Summit Brokerage Services.

Norman and Michael Robbins were looking for a firm that could help them maintain and enhance the high caliber service their clients have grown accustomed to. “Ameriprise offers industry-leading tools and resources that you’d expect from a Fortune 500 firm, yet our branch still has the feel of a boutique office where every client receives advice and support that’s customized for their unique situations,” said Michael Robbins. “The leadership team is focused on helping us integrate the right tools, systems and processes to consistently deliver a quality experience for clients.”

The advisors had high expectations that they would be able to continue their business as usual on day one at Ameriprise. “Our branch manager and the rest of the onboarding team delivered on all their promises, which was really refreshing, and made it easier for us stay focused on our clients during the transition,” said Michael Robbins.

Ameriprise complex director Dan Landrau and branch manager Drew Granauro support the team.
