Tricentis Achieves a Landmark Year, Exceeds $100 Million in Annual Recurring Revenue

Fueled by rising demand for continuous testing and enterprise automation solutions, enterprises are turning to Tricentis to accelerate digital transformation

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tricentis, the leader in continuous testing for DevOps, today announced that it has joined a rarefied list of private companies – those that have exceeded $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) – marking a major milestone in the company’s hyper-growth.

In 2019, Tricentis grew ARR by over 65% and added more than 200 customers to its Global 2000 customer base, which now exceeds 1,600 companies. Tricentis was also named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Software Test Automation for the fifth consecutive year, was listed for the second time on the Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ list of the fastest-growing private and public companies in North America, and surpassed 100,000 certified users in 2019.

Tricentis’ chief executive officer Sandeep Johri credits these achievements to Tricentis’ proven track record helping Global 2000 enterprises break through DevOps and digital transformation barriers in increasingly complex IT environments.

“Reaching the $100 million mark is a testament to the growing demand for a new approach to software testing and automation. Modernizing testing and automation offers a significant competitive advantage that enables enterprises to accelerate software delivery, improve quality and risk coverage, and reduce costs,” Johri said.

The average organization uses more than 900 applications today, and a single workflow might touch dozens of these applications via microservices and APIs. While this level of connectivity can significantly improve a user’s experience or an employee’s productivity, it also introduces significant complexity into the testing process, which can compromise both quality and speed of delivery without the right automation approach.

“Tricentis has delivered an end-to-end testing and automation platform that removes traditional roadblocks and enables customers to deliver unprecedented quality at speed across complex, multi-tier architecture and system workflows,” Johri said. “We believe our milestone year signifies a turning point for the industry – enterprises now recognize the competitive advantage they gain by scaling automation and eliminating the bottlenecks associated with siloed, legacy testing processes. Now, these enterprises are also applying our industry-leading automation to many other critical business processes in the production environment.”
