TCF Bank Hires Bill McGowan as Market Manager in Illinois and Wisconsin

With more than 20 years of commercial banking experience, McGowan leads a team to serve the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas

DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (TCF) (NASDAQ: TCF), announced it hired Bill McGowan as market manager for middle market banking. In this role, he is responsible for bringing in new business and implementing, coordinating and overseeing various commercial banking divisions in the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas.

McGowan was previously group president and head of commercial treasury management at MB Financial Bank and most recently responsible for the bank’s commercial treasury management line of business. He was with MB Financial for more than 13 years and held various leadership roles in commercial and specialized banking. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA with a concentration in finance from DePaul University. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Catholic Charities of Chicago and is active in other civic and charitable organizations.
