NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bookend Capital Partners, a newly raised middle market private equity fund, announced the addition of two new team members.
Harshad Khurjekar joined Bookend as a Principal from RSM's Transaction Advisory Services group, where he was a principal. Andrew Masi joined as an Associate from Ernst & Young’s Transaction Diligence group.
“With the additions of Harshad and Andrew, we are making an important investment in our financial due diligence capability,” said Alexander S. Panos, Bookend’s founder and CEO. “Harshad has been a distinguished M&A advisor to blue-chip private equity funds and corporate acquirers. I have worked closely with Harshad on buy-side private equity engagements over the last seven years. He brings rich experience to our firm and, together with Andrew, will bring substantial value to our investment process. We are thrilled to welcome them both.”
Harshad commented: “I was attracted to Bookend by its team’s unique private equity and operating experience. I look forward to helping further build the firm’s financial due diligence capability, allowing us to identify and unlock special value in our investments.”
Harshad joins Bookend with more than 12 years of M&A advisory experience, most recently in RSM’s Transaction Advisory Services group. Prior to RSM, Harshad was at KPMG in a similar group. He has advised private equity funds and corporations on over 200 transactions.
Andrew Masi most recently was an Associate with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Diligence group and started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
