Acquisition brings experience in driving complex transformative initiatives for enterprises to leading pure-play ServiceNow consultancy

BOSTON--()--Acorio, the largest pure-play ServiceNow consultancy, has acquired BusinessForward, a leading management consulting firm that helps IT, HR and other Corporate leaders derive the most from their investment in Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Human Capital Management (HCM) investments. The acquisition was completed on May 29, 2019. Financial terms were undisclosed.

This acquisition underscores a significant pivot currently underway in the ServiceNow Partner ecosystem, driven by these changing client needs. In a study released earlier this year, Acorio found that service management has fanned out beyond its traditional roots in IT to other parts of the organization. In the first-ever Global ServiceNow research report from Acorio, the data shows that a majority of respondents have implemented two or more applications, and 12% have already implemented four or more platform elements - spanning diverse company functions including Human Resources, Legal, and Customer Service.
