Slate Canadian Real Estate Opportunity Fund Announces 60,000 Square Foot Lease with Golder at Stephen Avenue Place

CALGARY, Alberta--()--Slate Canadian Real Estate Opportunity Fund I (Slate) today announced the signing of a 60,000 square foot lease at its landmark Stephen Avenue Place property with Golder, a global engineering and science consulting firm.

Golder will occupy four floors of the 40-story tower at 700 2nd Street in the heart of downtown Calgary. The new space positions Golder’s more than 300 employees at the nexus of the historic Stephen Avenue Walk and 2nd St. with direct access to the Core Shopping Centre, the “Plus 15” system of pedestrian overpasses and adjacent Light Rail Transit.

The property includes a club-quality fitness facility, expansive conference centre, tenant lounge, games lounge and other exclusive amenities.
