Quantabio Ignites Superior NGS Library Prep Performance with Faster Workflows and More Affordable Costs at AGBT 2019

Company to showcase sparQ NGS portfolio, including solutions for DNA fragmentation, library preparation, high-fidelity amplification, purification/size selection, and library quantification

BEVERLY, Mass.--()--Quantabio, a leading provider of robust DNA and RNA amplification reagents for the most demanding molecular testing and life science research applications, today announced its lineup of corporate events and poster presentations at the upcoming Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) 2019 Meeting in Marco Island, Florida on Feb. 27 – March 2, 2019. Quantabio will showcase the full sparQ NGS portfolio, including the new Fast Library Quant Kit, which was developed exclusively for the company’s Q qPCR cycler. Together, these products enable customers to quantify next-generation sequencing (NGS) libraries up to 60 percent faster for a significantly lower cost compared to standard library quantification methodologies.

“Quantabio now offers a complete menu of sparQ NGS solutions featuring the same superior coverage, higher yields, streamlined workflows, and reproducible results as our industry-leading PCR and qPCR product lines,” said Heather Meehan, PhD, Vice President of Commercial Operations at Quantabio. “We are looking forward to hosting AGBT attendees in our beachfront Lanai Suite and showcasing all of our abilities to ignite better insights in their NGS workflows.”

sparQ Fast Library Quant Kit Early Access Preview

Quantabio scientists will be sharing streamlined protocols and compelling new data for the new sparQ Fast Library Quant Kit throughout the meeting in the company’s hospitality suite. The new kit produces highly accurate, sensitive and reliable quantification of NGS libraries in as little as 36 minutes. The chemistries are optimized for the compact Q cycler, which rapidly heats and cools samples to generate high-quality, real-time qPCR data. Customers can distinguish down to 1.2-fold differences and achieve accurate and reliable quantification across various library sizes and GC-content.
