BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blueport Commerce, the leading e-commerce platform for furniture retail, today announced they will be attending the Furniture Today Leadership Conference to be held from November 27 – 29, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.
Blueport’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Carl Prindle, will introduce a three-part conference module centering around the theme Holistic Retail, a term coined earlier this year by Furniture Today’s Editor-in-Chief Bill McLoughlin. Furniture Today describes Holistic Retail as “the generation of retail beyond omnichannel. Where omnichannel was about transacting – whether online or in-store – holistic retail is the comprehensive, multi-platform utilization of education, entertainment and commerce to deliver exciting consumer solutions.”
Prindle’s introduction to the Holistic Retail theme will draw from his years of expertise in the furniture retail landscape and bring historical context to the evolution of omnichannel – where the industry has been, where it is today, and where Holistic Retail will go in the future.
Blueport’s General Manager, Bob Howland, and Head of Sales, Andy Long, will also be in attendance.
Each year Furniture Today’s flagship conference brings together more than 500 of the furniture industry’s most influential leaders. This unique setting provides opportunities for networking and education amongst the leaders of the furniture industry. An array of panels and presentations offer the insights and information needed to guide furniture retailers down the path to success.
