QuickBridge Announces Winners of Most Influential Women in Business Contest

IRVINE, Calif.--()--QuickBridge, a privately-held, leading financial services firm offering business loans to small to mid-sized businesses nationwide, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2018 Most Influential Women in Business Contest. QuickBridge’s contest, which ran from Monday, September 17 through Friday, October 19, was designed to run in conjunction with American Business Women’s Day on September 22 and National Business Women’s Week October 15-21, 2018.

Individuals were asked to nominate an influential woman in business, or themselves, through QuickBridge’s social media channels with a 100-word-or-less comment on why the female professional they nominated was deserving of recognition. The winners were selected by a panel of QuickBridge judges based on the value or intrigue of the entry. QuickBridge received an overwhelming number of nominations and ultimately announced the following three female professionals as winners:

Crystal C. founded Memphis-based non-profit Beautiful Spirited Women, an organization that mentors and uplifts teenage girls. Crystal strives to create an environment where women can come together with the collective mindset of empowering one another. In addition to teen mentoring, Crystal manages her staff, oversees financials, and actively volunteers in her community. Beautiful Spirited Women is a two-time Stone Award Winner for Best Non-Profit Organization and recently received a proclamation from the city of Memphis for their enrollment and group statistics.

Ana G. established Ana Garza Bookkeeping Services, located in Garland, Texas, in 1996. Ana worked in the corporate world for 10 years after studying taxes and business in school. When her son was diagnosed with dyslexia, she decided to stay home to assist with his schoolwork. In her free time, Ana connected with her past professors and studied tax books. Ana Garza Bookkeeping Services now has over 8,000 clients and is continuing to grow. Ana goes above and beyond to form a connection with her clients. She’s helped several of her clients pay for their children’s education and schoolbooks.

Forestville, Maryland-based Intelligent Tax Solutions was founded in 2000 by Angela F. when she recognized a need for a local accounting firm that was professional, responsive and offered high-quality service. The biggest challenge for Angela was maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Not only was she building a business, but also taking care of her family of seven and furthering her education. She credits her husband for being her constant source of support while she obtained two master’s degrees. She looks forward to the future of ITS as it begins franchising in 2018.

“Women are integral to today’s workforce,” said QuickBridge President Ben Gold. “We are thrilled that through our QuickBridge Most Influential Women in Business contest, we were able to bring additional recognition to these hardworking, and most deserving female professionals.”
