Prevalent Hires James DeBlasio as CFO and VP of Operations to Help Drive Next Phase of Growth

Former Internap CEO Brings Extensive Executive Experience and Vision to Third Party Risk Management Leader

WARREN, N.J.--()--Prevalent, Inc., the leader in Third Party Risk Management, today announced the appointment of James DeBlasio as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. Mr. DeBlasio joins Prevalent from technology startup, Kiswe Mobile, where, as an Investor, he held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Head of Sales, and Head of Strategy. DeBlasio brings with him an extensive background in leadership, finance and driving operational excellence throughout his career in the Software and IT Services and Telecommunications industries.

Over the course of his 35 year career, DeBlasio has held numerous senior executive leadership roles where he was responsible for setting a vision, financial performance, profitable growth, sales and global service leadership, business operations, and strategic company direction.

From 2013 to 2016, DeBlasio was the Executive Vice President of Operations for York Telecom Corporation, a Unified Communications Company, where he oversaw the company’s new product offerings along with Service Delivery, Managed Services, product efficiency, and overall profitability. He also had responsibility for Yorktel’s Engineering and Cloud Technology initiatives.

Prior to that, Mr. DeBlasio was the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at Internap Network Services Corporation (NASD INAP), a position he held since 2005. During his tenure as Internap’s CEO, he led the business through a successful turnaround. He increased the company’s focus on applications engineering and was successful in delivering a dramatic rise in new customers, a doubling of revenue, a dramatic increase in cash/shareholder value, and a return to profitability. Internap received industry awards and state-wide recognition as one of the “Top Ten Fastest Growing Companies”.

DeBlasio has also held executive financial positions of increasing responsibility at Lucent Technologies. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Portfolio Analysis from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Villanova University.
