South Carolina Federal Credit Union Selects Accruent’s CMMS

Multi-Site Facility Management to Drive Efficiencies for Financial Services Provider

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Accruent, the world’s leading provider of physical resource management solutions, announced today that South Carolina Federal Credit Union (South Carolina Federal) has selected Accruent’s Maintenance Connection computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to increase the efficiency of its facility maintenance program.

“South Carolina Federal’s mission is to exceed the expectations of their members. To that end, they needed greater insight into real-time and historical asset data that can be leveraged across their facilities team,” said John Borgerding, CEO, Accruent. “Our CMMS can help South Carolina Federal make data-driven decisions to reduce costs and increase productivity while anticipating and supporting facility management goals.”

Founded in 1936, South Carolina Federal offers a full range of financial services including savings and investments, checking, credit cards and loans. With its campus headquarters and 20 branch locations, South Carolina Federal manages and maintains approximately 230,000 square feet of space needed to support their workforce and serve their members.

South Carolina Federal identified several needs in order to improve strategic planning: the consolidation of data, alignment of assets for preventative and predictive maintenance management, recording the life of assets for budgeting purposes, and access to reporting tools.

“We wanted a solution that could meet our needs and that our staff could adopt easily,” said Toby Turbeville, Vice President of Facilities, South Carolina Federal Credit Union. “We evaluated several solutions but kept coming back to Maintenance Connection for its simplicity, value and features. Accruent’s solution hit all of the must-haves on our list, plus more.”

Accruent’s Maintenance Connection software is a comprehensive CMMS that can help South Carolina Federal better manage asset information and continue to move toward preventative and predictive maintenance planning. Maintenance Connection provides reporting tools to increase South Carolina Federal’s insight into their asset lifecycle. In addition, South Carolina Federal will utilize Maintenance Connection for its robust facilities help desk solution.
