Wolters Kluwer to Host the TeamMate User Forum in Miami, Florida

Attendees will hear from industry thought leaders and TeamMate experts about the Future of Audit

NEW YORK--()--Wolters Kluwer will host its 19th-annual TeamMate User Forum from September 30 to October 3 to bring insights about the future of internal audit management to the Americas market.

Held in the US at the Fontainebleau Hotel, the TeamMate User Forum will focus on intuitive and innovative approaches that internal audit professionals need to thrive in a world of change, offering customers general sessions and several elective options focused on best practices, innovation and feature updates.

The TeamMate User Forum will kick off with a discussion on Critical Thinking and Fraud Detection provided by Dr. Toby Groves, a premier social cognitive scientist that researches new thinking approaches to help experts achieve higher-order critical thinking.

Attendees will hear from a variety of thought leaders and industry experts throughout the User Forum including:

  • Dick Anderson, Clinical Professor at DePaul University and retired Managing Partner at PwC, will partner with Mike Gowell, Senior Vice President at TeamMate, to facilitate an Executive Roundtable, focused on audit strategic planning and audit talent management, and a session on maximizing coordination across the lines of defense through Combined Assurance
  • Anderson will also co-facilitate with Andrew Broughton, EMEA Product Manager at TeamMate for a discussion about how to enhance the risk assessment process using the new 2017 Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework
  • Jim Kaplan, Founder of AuditNet, will share his insights on Internal Audit in the age of disruption
  • Susan Stapleton, VP Customer Advisory at Greenlight Technologies, will present on the value of data integration to effectively audit the enterprise
