ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eyebobs®, eyewear for the irreverent and slightly jaded, is on track to smash through the traditional eyewear retail model with the grand opening of its newest brick and mortar location in Orlando, Florida.
Grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the new eyebobs store at The Florida Mall, located on the southeast wing between the Dining Pavilion and Macy’s. The 1,137 square-foot space features the iconic and irreverent eyebobs aesthetic with edgy design elements, splashes of yellow and a spin on some of the world’s most iconic works of art.
The Bobtender℠ Stylists provide customers with a ‘no B.S.’ personal styling to help them select the frame that best suits their unique personality. Eyewear offerings include prescription readers, readers, sunglasses, reader sunglasses and blue light in daring, distinctive shapes, sizes and color options.
eyebobs are hand-carved from luxury Italian plastics and feature durable spring hinges that flex for a more comfortable fit. Lenses offer clear vision with less distortion, and all-in pricing for frames and lenses is $89 for readers, $199 for single-vision and $299 for progressives.
eyebobs expansion is led by CEO Mike Hollenstein, who brought a wealth of retail experience to drive eyebobs’ launch of its prescription eyewear offerings in 2017 and is now leading the brand to break the mold of the bland eyewear shopping experience.
eyebobs first tested the brick and mortar model in October of 2017, when they opened their retail lab at the company’s headquarters in Minneapolis. The success of the space, which included their newly launched prescription line, provided eyebobs with the momentum to move forward with their first store opening at the Mall of America in May of this year and coming soon to The Florida Mall.
