Replacing the previous ISO/TS 16949 technical specification, the IATF 16949:2016 combines various standards from across the United States and Europe. It outlines rigorous requirements to the supplier’s Quality Management System (QMS), including continuous improvement, defect identification and prevention, reduction of variation and waste. This international measure of quality is the gold standard for any company to develop a system for ensuring improvement and customer satisfaction.
