Superion to Showcase Smart, Agile, and Unified Emergency Dispatch and Communication Solutions at NENA 2018

LAKE MARY, Fla.--()--Superion, an industry leader in public sector software solutions, will participate at National Emergency Number Association’s NENA 2018 conference being held June 16-21, 2018, in Nashville, TN. Presenting from conference booth 623, Superion will showcase its unified public safety software, including Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Response, and CryWolf® False Alarm solutions, among others.

Emergency communications centers across the United States field more than 657,000 emergency calls each day. Additionally, FBI Uniform Crime Reporting figures show the number of law enforcement employees in most police departments has decreased since 2010. Providing these agencies with quick, reliable access to critical information, Superion Public Safety Suite acts as a digital force-multiplier by helping to combat the demands of call volume with smarter, more agile communications within agencies and across multiple jurisdictions.

Representing all critical components of the public safety enterprise, the suite has been designed from inception to work together seamlessly or as stand-alone products. Advanced functions combine to deliver the industry’s latest developments in public safety software and include geofencing capabilities for creating map boundaries on the fly; map sharing across CAD, Mobile, and RMS; and seamless integration with CryWolf, which eliminates up to 80 percent of false alarm calls.

Empowered by these advances, for example, League City, TX, relied on their Superion CAD and Freedom mobile app to effectively handle over 1,000 simultaneous CAD calls for service during Hurricane Harvey and make 2,000 rescues over two days during the storm – even as roadways were rendered unrecognizable by several feet of floodwater. In another example, Roswell, NM, reduced the number of false alarm dispatches by 60 percent from more than 5,000 to less than 2,000 per year with their use of Superion CAD and CryWolf.

Chosen by public safety agencies of all sizes across the United States, Superion provides a proven solution that leads to safer communities by empowering faster and more accurate emergency response, greater availability of responders for true emergencies, and deeper insights into mission-critical data in real time.

Superion encourages NENA attendees to join the company’s NENA Buzz Session, “False Alarm Management: Dispatch Responders to True Emergencies Instead of False Alarms,” Monday, June 18, 1:30-2 p.m., and visit booth number 623 for personal demonstrations and one-on-one discussions with company leadership and subject matter experts.
