LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DreamHost®, a global leader in web hosting and Managed WordPress services, today launched Create, a new design feature for the company’s easy-to-use Remixer website building tool, featuring new color-matching technology.
Create makes it easy for users with limited coding and design experience to see how different design elements work together to form a unified website look and feel. Using Create, users select one of three basic layouts, choose a color palette, and pick from curated font pairings. Create offers themed sample content options—such as “music,” “travel and landscape,” or “business professional”—featuring imagery that coordinates with the chosen color palette. Using new color-matching technology, changes to the color palette automatically refresh the photo options to match the new look in the site preview.
“With more than 20 years of website hosting experience, we know that matching imagery to the overall color palette of a website makes for a more polished and professional look,” said Ralph Castro, DreamHost vice president of product, Remixer. “We’re constantly looking for ways to make it faster and easier for users see the possibilities for their websites, without the need for specialized coding and design skills.”
The color-matching technology featured in Create will eventually be incorporated throughout Remixer’s website-building options. Remixer, including the new Create feature, is free to use and can be found at www.dreamhost.com/website-builder/.
