OncLive® to Host State of the Science Summit™ on Breast Cancer

The meeting features presenters from the Michigan region

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--OncLive®, the leading digital provider of resources and information to oncology professionals, will host the latest State of the Science Summit™ on May 10 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Detroit Novi, in Novi, Michigan. This summit will focus on scientific and clinical advancements in breast cancer.

Chaired by Lisa Newman, M.D., M.P.H., the director of the breast oncology program at Henry Ford Cancer Institute, in Detroit, this educational event will feature breast cancer experts from the Michigan region. The presenters will discuss topics including advances in genetic testing for breast cancer, advances in breast cancer stem cell research, advances in radiation therapy for breast cancer hypofractionated scheduling, and advances in management of anti-HER2/neu-positive breast cancer. Presenters will also delve into a discussion on targeted axillary surgery for node-positive breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

The program also features a robust peer exchange, which provides an opportunity for the presenters to address audience questions. Presenters for the summit include:

The State of the Science Summit is a premier conference series hosted by OncLive® that features medical experts from across the nation.
