Perm Docs provides a single, centralized repository for critical accounting documents that is fully configurable and automatically viewable and accessible from within FloQast to help improve organization and team efficiency.
Perm Docs is how accountants typically refer to “permanent documents” which may include policies and procedures documentation, significant contracts, charts of accounts, board minutes, leases, or even Articles of Incorporation. These documents have a life span across multiple close periods and all accounting departments must maintain these documents. However, permanent documents are frequently dispersed across the office and organization, stored in file cabinets (both real and virtual), making it difficult to find them when needed. Managers and staff may not even be aware of their existence.
FloQast’s new Perm Docs capability works in conjunction with the customers’ cloud document storage and FloQast. Users set up folders to organize documents any way they wish. It can be configured for documents relevant to all of a company’s entities, or just one of them, assuring the right documents can always be accessed in the uncluttered place that makes the most sense. Administrators can add, delete or edit folder names within their cloud storage and those changes will automatically be reflected in FloQast. Administrators can create as many folders as desired and they will all be visible and accessible in FloQast.
