BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ThirdChannel, the leading provider of retail execution and analytics solutions for retail brands and manufacturers, today announced two milestones in the company’s growth. ThirdChannel has moved its headquarters to a new office space in downtown Boston, and also appointed a new Vice President of Marketing, Keshav Shivdasani, who will spearhead and scale the company’s marketing function.
“This is a pivotal moment for ThirdChannel as a company,” said Gina Ashe, CEO, ThirdChannel. “Physical retail is in its renaissance, and industry players need data-driven solutions to make real-time business decisions that optimize their scarce marketing and field team resources. As we work to bring the platform to a larger percentage of the world’s leading brands, the new office space allows us to grow our staff with key team members like Keshav, who will play an integral role in our continued success.”
Shivdasani joins ThirdChannel with over a decade of experience directing marketing efforts for retail technology enterprises. Prior to ThirdChannel, he served as the Head of Global Marketing for Reflexis Systems, a leading retail workforce management software company. In this role, Keshav was instrumental in establishing the company’s global market positioning, heading brand management, event planning, content marketing, marketing operations, value engineering and sales enablement efforts that contributed to multi-million-dollar sales.
“The ThirdChannel platform presents a solution to a problem that brands today are struggling to combat,” said Keshav Shivdasani, VP of Marketing, ThirdChannel. “At a time when retailers are trying to optimize labor spend as much as possible, it’s more important than ever for brand executives to ensure that category and brand growth still take place. I’m excited to help manufacturing brands understand the value that the ThirdChannel platform provides, in order to help them take more control of brand execution in stores, and ultimately, ensure continued growth and a lift in sales.”
ThirdChannel’s momentum follows the recent closing of $7 million in Series A funding in a round led by Fung Capital last Fall. Since then, ThirdChannel has also grown its leadership team with the appointment of a new VP of Sales, Tom Morris, as well as the addition of new features to its retail intelligence platform and mobile app.
ThirdChannel’s retail intelligence platform is used by the world’s leading brands to see what's happening — or should be happening — with their products on the ground in thousands of stores, and to identify where to allocate marketing resources to drive higher sales. The Web-based platform integrates real-time data from field teams on the ground with POS, inventory, traffic and other sources of data to reveal retail execution issues. The system generates action plans that guide field team efforts, unlocking sales potential and quantifying results with measurable ROI. Don't have a field team? ThirdChannel matches an exclusive, on-brand force for brands and retailers to flex up presence in stores.
